米亞 in 歐嗨歐

My apartment was out of power for two days. The weird thing was the lights can be turned on, but I couldn't get any electricity from the outlets. Thus, I couldn't use my computer and I coudn't use my oven. The automatic heater system did not work either. My apartment was like a freezer. Staying outside was warmer than staying at home even though the weather was still not that warm.

These two days, I was awaken by the cold air even though I wrapped myself with two layers of blankets. After I woke up, I couldn't stay in the apartment any longer and I just wanted to go out ASAP. Thank God, I could go to my boyfriend's office and used my computer there. Otherwise, I would be frozen and bored to death.

I couldn't help complaining that the American power system sucked!! On Wed, the thunderstorm looked OK and the wind was not that strong. But suddenly, the power broke down! And it took so long for the company to repair the power. I remembered when I was in Taiwan, even though there was a very big typhoon, losing power was not very often. When we were out of electricity, it wasn't take too long to get the power back.

Right now, I just hope that the power can be back ASAP. All I want to do is take hot shower and have a nice sleep in a warm room. Please don't let me be the last one who has power back!!!
