米亞 in 歐嗨歐

I have been staying in Ohio for almost two years. Even though the weather is crazily cold in winter here, I had been blessed by my family, my friends, my German ,and his parents. I told German that I haven't eaten nice sea food in Columbus except the shirmp I cooked by myself. He decided to take me to a very nice sea food restaurant called "Columbus Fish Market". 

My apartment was out of power for two days. The weird thing was the lights can be turned on, but I couldn't get any electricity from the outlets. Thus, I couldn't use my computer and I coudn't use my oven. The automatic heater system did not work either. My apartment was like a freezer. Staying outside was warmer than staying at home even though the weather was still not that warm.

These two days, I was awaken by the cold air even though I wrapped myself with two layers of blankets. After I woke up, I couldn't stay in the apartment any longer and I just wanted to go out ASAP. Thank God, I could go to my boyfriend's office and used my computer there. Otherwise, I would be frozen and bored to death.

期待了很久，Hara 和她美國老公Justin上週五終於開車來到歐嗨歐，我們渡過了一個開心的週末!! 因為Columbus也真得沒有什麼好玩的...(It is true..)，本來想帶他們到北邊一點的Amish Country去看看，但因為現在是冬天又加上上禮拜下了滿厚的雪，可能Amish people也不想出來亂混，商店也不會開，所以就取消去那邊的打算，乾脆來個輕鬆隨性的行程。 

1/31(Sat): 逛逛polaris, 去Ha Long Bay吃河粉, 瀏覽Victorian Village, Columbus downtown、Short North、North Market 還有Battelle Riverfront Park, 火鍋party和打牌

在Columbus唸書已經一年半了，但還是沒去過Cincinnati，這次因為要音樂劇Grease在Columbus上演的時間剛好在暑假，我會回台灣沒辦法欣賞到，就決定到Cincinnati的Aronoff Center去看Grease，順便遊覽一下Cincinnati。

最近這幾天下雪一直下，天氣最低溫度大概是-16度，最高溫度也只有-6度，冷得真是不像話，如果要出門去就要全副武裝，穿上我的兩到三件毛衣、大衣、圍巾、毛帽、手套、雪靴，一樣也不能少，但還是一樣冷，好險這個quarter不用修課，能不出門我就不出門了!!
